My mom and dad's house is simply adorable (credit for the decorating goes to my momma. sorry dad, everything and anything having to do with carpentry and handiwork is all you!). She has absolutely wonderful taste and is always adding little touches here and there to spice things up! Often, to fill awkward, empty space or to add color to a room, she sets up various little "scenarios" throughout the house.
After wandering aimlessly through Papersource the other night and thinking about the store's tag line "Do Something Creative Every Day", I decided to go home and set up my own "scenario" in my little apartment. Using a hand-me-down wicker basket from my mom (thanks!), my straw, beach hat that I can't seem to find storage for anywhere, a candle I made from sand and shells from K and I's trip here, and a few of my books, I transformed this into my own little scenario. What do you think?!
