The Broadway musical, The Book of Mormon, is getting rave reviews. This religious satire musical won 9 Tony Awards this past June and was written by the creators of South Park. The musical tells the story of two young Mormon missionaries sent to a remote northern village in northern Uganda, where a brutal warlord is threatening the natives. Naive and optimistimic, the missionaries try to share their scriptures. As the New York Times puts it, this "musical comedy" unfolds from there. If you are in NY and have the chance to go to Broadway, run to see this musical! Fingers crossed it travels cross country to LA soon!!!
