I love to bake. And when we moved into our new apartment, there was a pleasant surprise waiting for me on our cookbook shelf: my very own copy of the classic The Joy of Cooking. There are so, so, so many recipes I couldn't wait to try out, but I just knew that one of the first had to be simple chocolate chip cookies. With sea salt. And boy oh boy! They did not disappoint.
This might just be the chocolate chip recipe for me. The cookies were soft and gooey on the inside and just the right amount of crispy and crunchy on the outside. Plus the sea salt?! Yum :)
This plate of cookies may or may not have disappeared by the next morning. hehe. Enjoy!
